fp32-tapeThis week’s Classic Recording is the Spellbinder Tapes telling of Daniel Boone, the B-Side to last week’s Benjamin Franklin! Daniel Boone is a 22-minute short story that tells the amazing story of America’s famous explorer and his many exploits on the frontier wilderness. The voice acting is admirable, the narration classic, and the music is dark and foreboding; definitely the sort that has stuck with me all these years since childhood! Daniel’s victory over the panther in the forest is especially memorable. Enjoy, Amigos!

Do you have any more of the spellbinder tapes like Hans Brinker or Tom Sawyer or any of those. I used to love listening to these tapes as a kid and really appreciate you putting these up to listen too.

Tom Sawyer is now posted in the Classic Recordings section. Working on Hans Brinker! Thanks Tom!

I really enjoy listening to Daniel Boone and Ben Franklin. I was hoping to hear the “American Revolution” and “George Washington”. I use to own the SpellBinder/Fisher Price cassette tapes and was so frustrated I could not find those tapes until I came across ur website. Thanks guys.
