I was curious; what is the equipment you use on which to record these tapes and then post them on the internet? I have a lot of tapes at home and am interested in the process.

I just plug a standard 3.5mm Aux Cable (doublesided) from an old Walkman into the mic input of my computer. I then record using the free program, Audacity. Hope this helps!

Hey thanks for making these available! I grew up with these and being able to download for my kids is great! I have two questions:

    1. When I right click and download The American Revolution I get an “empty file” alarm. Am i doing something incorrectly?
    2. Do you have plans to put George Washington on the website?

    Thanks again!

Hey Steve, thanks for the heads up! The link should work now, enjoy! And yes, George Washington is in my collection and should find it’s way on here soon.

Please keep the Fisher-Price Spellbinder recordings coming! Really takes me back…and I love sharing these with my kids. Looking forward to Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates, George Washington, and Gulliver’s Travels!

I opened up the “American Revolution” tape, and clicked the “or Download here” button. Nothing happens. No new window popped up or anything?

    What am I doing wrong?

Hi Steve, Right click on the “download” link and click “save link as” to download.

Got it to work. Thanks so much. Love all the Fisher Price titles you have. Like everyone else, waiting on the George Washington title. Would you also have the Wizard of Oz? I see you have an lp version. But like the Fisher Price version.

Thank you so much. I memorised this tape as a child. I remember reciting it to my grandmother at the dinner table at her house. Thank you for allowing me to relive a great moment from my childhood.
